First: we want to thank you for being a member of CrossFit East Providence and to let you know we appreciate all your efforts to make CrossFit East Providence the best place to complete your fitness goals. As we mature as a team we also want to evolve. We are in constant improvement mode and thank you for your input.
As you know, CrossFit is ‘constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement’. Constantly varied random workouts keep you ready for the unknown. This is true, but not without programming to improve your strengths and address your weaknesses. We want you to be ready for any workout or challenge. Structured programming aligned with the membership will help us grow as a well conditioned team of athletes. We’ve already been through a Skill / Competition and Strength cycle and your now in a CF Open Prep cycle (we are following Comptrain).
We also made some changes in our class schedule and added to staff. Our staffing has been improved with the addition of Coach Phil and Emily has been promoted to Head Coach. I’m sure you’ll agree its a good move and in the right direction. We’ve added a 5:30 pm class and moved our 6pm to 6:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Open Gym Sunday is now official.
Wait, there’s more: “Bring a Friend” Saturday has been extended to monthly instead of Quarterly, this way you get to show your skills to friends and family more often. And one last thing, thanks for being a part of this Community ! Till next time, good luck with the CF Open Prep.
If you want an Olympic Lifting (only) class on Saturday(s) tell your coach ! It’s free for Unl members ($10 for 3×2) and( $15 for drop-in).
